G2 Mrs. Revere

With the scratch of #11 Sensitive, the Super Screener’s next 4 ranked horses finished in that exact order led by top win pick, Lovely Bernadette, who took complete advantage of that very soft pace set up we projected…sitting a cozy 2nd just behind dawdling fractions of 50 4/5 and

1:16 3/5 and then got first run on the deep closers #8 Journey Home and #9 Daddy’s Lil Darling who the Super Screener selected as the ideal pair to use under in your exotics as they would come running late but not get the swift pace set up to aid that late run.  Here’s what the Super Screener said about these fillies prior to the race:

Both #8 Journey Home and #9 Daddy’s Lil Darling are big, lanky fillies that may find the tight CD turns a bit tough to navigate and they both appreciate a bit longer than this 1 1/16th miles distance.  However, with clear trips they’ll be the pair that have the most momentum in reserve as they approach the wire.  They emerge as the ideal pair to lock in “underneath” positions in your Exotic wagers.

The suggested Super Screener wagers paid over $550!

G2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes

A Super Screener “A” horse, Enticed, shipped in from NY and once again validated how key the G1 Champagne Stakes was this year.  He sat the perfect trip and then fought on valiantly to hold off the fast-charging Tiz Mischief by a narrowing margin.

The latter colt was spotted as a contender that possessed the perfect energy distribution profile for this race and was included heavily “under” in suggested wagers. Take note of his stablemate, Promises Fulfilled, who recovered from a troubled start and then rushed to the lead and held on very gamely for 3rd. One to follow to his next start.

G3 Jimmy Durante

There was no doubt about it.  A Super Screener top win pick, Daddy Is a Legend, just engulfed this field in the final furlong indicating that this one appears to be heading to super star status.  Chad Brown’s Data Dependent also flashed his brilliance in finishing a very sharp looking 2nd.

We feared Fatale Bere would continue her string of bad trips and that’s exactly what happened.  She ran off with Mike Smith from that outside draw fully extended heading into the far turn but was unable to show any more after using all her energy early.

Lexington Grace was one of our top long shot picks and she did not disappoint finishing a fast-closing 4th to complete the Superfecta at odds of 21-1.

The Super Screener suggested wagers returned $442 with two of the top favorites finishing 1-2.

G1 Clark Handicap

The Super Screener top win pick, Honorable Duty, was pulled up in the race and our other “A” horse, Diversify, got the clear lead he needed but that CD surface was clearly not to his liking and that was the Super Screener’s only concern about his chances here.  Our top board hitter pick, Hoppertunity closed to finish a 3rd in this race again.  Hats off to the connections of Seeking the Soul whose race prior at Keeneland proved to be no fluke and he ran right back to that race.

While we say good bye to the Bing Crosby Del Mar meet and the Churchill Downs Fall meet, there is still plenty of stakes action next weekend. Aqueduct takes center stage, featuring the G1 Cigar Mile and G2 Remsen Stakes.  We also have the Claiming Crown races at GP which always feature full, contentious fields, so don’t miss it.

Until next weekend, “Go Fast and Win!”
